What is TESE/PESE?

TESE (Testicular Sperm Extraction) and PESE (Percutaneous Epididymal Sperm Extraction) are advanced surgical procedures that retrieve sperm directly from the testicles or epididymis. These techniques are used in cases where there is no sperm in the semen (azoospermia) due to blockages or other issues.

TESE/PESE Process:

We offer a comprehensive TESE/PESE process, including an initial consultation, the TESE or PESE procedure, sperm analysis, and fertility treatment. Our fertility specialist will review your medical history, perform a physical examination, and discuss your options for TESE/PESE during the initial consultation.

During the TESE or PESE procedure, we will retrieve sperm from the testicles or epididymis using a small needle or incision. Our team of embryologists will analyze the retrieved sperm to determine their quality and viability. The retrieved sperm can be used for Intrauterine Insemination (IUI) or Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI) to increase the chances of a successful pregnancy.

Eligibility for TESE/PESE:

TESE/PESE is an option for men who have a low sperm count or no sperm in their semen due to testicular or epididymal blockages, genetic disorders, or previous vasectomy.

Success Rates:

Its done for male infertility cases, where the testicles are well developed and causing azoospermia due to obstruction in the reproductive tract, causing absence of sperm ejection. By performing TESE/PESE sperm

Can be retrieved directly from the tissues. Later ICSI can be done to make quality of embryos. It can be done under local anaesthesia..
