Surrogacy Program
Welcome to our Surrogacy Program. We understand that starting or growing a family can be a challenging journey, and we’re here to help. Our surrogacy program offers a safe and supportive environment for individuals or couples who want to have a child but cannot carry a pregnancy to term.
What is Surrogacy?
Surrogacy is a process where a woman carries a pregnancy on behalf of another individual or couple who is unable to do so. This process involves the use of assisted reproductive technologies (ART), such as in vitro fertilization (IVF), to create an embryo using the intended parents’ or donors’ gametes. The embryo is then transferred to the surrogate’s uterus, where it can grow and develop until birth.
Types of Surrogacy:
There are two types of surrogacy traditional and gestational.
Traditional Surrogacy: In this type of surrogacy, the surrogate mother is also the biological mother of the child. Her eggs are fertilized with the intended father’s sperm or donor sperm through intrauterine insemination (IUI).
Gestational Surrogacy: In this type of surrogacy, the surrogate mother carries a pregnancy created using the intended mother’s or donor’s egg and the intended father’s or donor’s sperm through IVF.
Surrogacy Process:
Our surrogacy process includes the following steps:
Initial Consultation: We will discuss the surrogacy process, eligibility criteria, and potential risks and benefits with you.
Medical Screening: Both the intended parents and the surrogate mother will undergo medical screening to ensure that they are physically and mentally healthy and can undergo the process safely.
Legal Agreements: We will work with you to establish a legal agreement that outlines the terms and conditions of the surrogacy process, including the surrogate’s compensation, rights and responsibilities, and parental rights.
Fertility Treatment: If necessary, we will use ART to create embryos that will be transferred to the surrogate’s uterus.
Pregnancy Monitoring: Throughout the pregnancy, we will monitor the surrogate’s health and the baby’s growth and development.
Birth: When it’s time for the baby to be born, we will be there to support the surrogate mother and the intended parents.
Eligibility for Surrogacy:
Surrogacy is an option for individuals or couples who are unable to carry a pregnancy to term due to medical conditions such as infertility, recurrent miscarriage, or uterine anomalies.
Cost of Surrogacy:
The cost of surrogacy varies depending on the individual circumstances and the location of the surrogacy program. We offer a range of payment options and financing plans to make surrogacy more accessible to our patients.
